This was a really long conversation I had with that awesome gal Amy today. I hope she likes living in Alabama. It started out with us talking about probably not going to college, and it went into this somehow... GomezGuy2005 [9:23 PM]: yeah...a big thing I want to do is join the peace corps. CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:25 PM]: absolutely, it depends on what god thinks but i really want to travel and just teach people, help them out, show them what it really means to be a christian and not just some lazy two faced church goer who tithes when they feel like it and pretends to be something they aren't GomezGuy2005 [9:25 PM]: I want to travel and teach people and such too, except I'm not real religious. GomezGuy2005 [9:38 PM]: I think there has to be a possitive and negative to everything, and if heaven is the possitive and hell is the negative then both have to exist in order to balance everything out...I don't think we're all going to hell. I think god is something that lives inside of everyone/everything. I don't believe God is a big spiritual being in the sky looking down upon us. I think of God more as a force. Something that has always exisited and it's because of that existance that everything else is able to exist. GomezGuy2005 [9:38 PM]: God is something that is inside all of us that connects us, and everyone does his or her or its part to make life existant. CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:39 PM]: yeah me too GomezGuy2005 [9:39 PM]: I do believe in prayer and such because if you are living, ect. then you have to a part of the great circle making everything up, therefor you have a say in what direction it goes. GomezGuy2005 [9:39 PM]: By praying your part just increases, if that makes sense. CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:40 PM]: no that makes sense i see what your saying, thats cool where'd you come up with that? CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:40 PM]: i mean, how did you interpret that? GomezGuy2005 [9:40 PM]: I always give credit where credit is due, and so I'm not lieing when I say I just think a lot and came up without that on my own... CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:41 PM]: yeah i see what you mean GomezGuy2005 [9:41 PM]: yeah, I don't know how you look at that interpretation, but I think religion can be interpreted in anyway, however you want it to be. And it's never wrong. GomezGuy2005 [9:42 PM]: I just dissagree with "christians' that you were talking about. Who completely go against there own beliefs. GomezGuy2005 [9:43 PM]: you don't have to stick with your beliefs but you should at least be good enough of a person to stick by what you believe in. Not just for 1/7th of your life (7 days in a week, 1 is spent religiously) CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:44 PM]: yeah i know, they make me mad, but i pity them more, i mean, i have this desire to teach, its so strong, i want to show people how it really is, christians and nonchristians, like even you, i mean i understnad what you believe but i'm just scared, because it doesn't sound like you've got a faith in anything that could save you, don't let that sound too churchy, i hate when that happens GomezGuy2005 [9:47 PM]: I think I have belief in what I believe in enough to be saved...if there is such a thing...(not denying that there is or isn't) GomezGuy2005 [9:47 PM]: but I'm just glad I have a belief system that works. CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:50 PM]: no no, regeneration in christ, as in, when you accept jesus your changed completely, you (spiritually speaking) are given a new heart,....your saved from hell yes, but its also the reviving of your soul, so that you can show other people that it doesn't have to be this way (this as in, hopeless, fucked up, life is so hard, nothing matters etc...) CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:51 PM]: now yes, but only recently. i thought i was all my life, because i was "saved" when i was seven, ....but it was more like i was scared into it when i was little,..... CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:53 PM]: honestly,....its drastic,....its a battle but its opposite of what i was....exactly, its totally different, b/c now i understand why its so bad sometimes, and not only is it better but i know how to deal with it, its like, there something bigger our there, a God that loves me, because i'm one of His, and he'll do anything to help me out, to have a relationship with me, and all i have to do is say " alright thats cool" or wahtever, just saying yes, GomezGuy2005 [9:54 PM]: maybe it's just because I suppose I'm not saved, but I don't see how that could work. And to tell the truth. Every since I began believing in my own beliefs my life has been completely different, but maybe it's just because I have a different outlook. GomezGuy2005 [9:57 PM]: I understand things a lot better, I still have faith in a lot of things, I believe in predestination, things are better. I look at life differently because I believe in things differently. Maybe my version of being saved is different from yours. CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [9:58 PM]: predestination is such a shaky topic, b/c i wasn't raised to believe it but its all over the bible, but not in some of the senses that its taught. GomezGuy2005 [9:59 PM]: I don't know how to explain what I mean by predestination. GomezGuy2005 [9:59 PM]: I believe in it as in I think everything happens for a reason, and if everything happens for a reason then in turned it's predestined. CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [10:07 PM]: umm,...biblically its described as fire and darkness but i think its meaning more of a personal hell,...not like everyone will be in a pit but more like, you'll be unable to see and your going to be in sopme kind of pain, both spiritual and physical,...but hear me on this one,...NOT because god wants you there, because you didn't let christ save you, you are given over to satan, simply because that is your choice,....its all a 2 way street, you either hate him or you don't, theres no in between,...and so b/c someone wasn't sure, or was against him, either way they will be put in hell simply b/c they had the choice and it isn't so much what they did choose, but who they didn't choose GomezGuy2005 [10:08 PM]: wait, so was everyone prior to Christ being born sent to hell? GomezGuy2005 [10:12 PM]: I don't believe that god would put us all here and only give us two options, hell or heaven. I think everyone contributes to everything in there own way. I don't believe that if you were a truely great person who helped many people and saved lives (literally and emotionally, ect.) but didn't believe in christ, then I don't think you would go to hell. GomezGuy2005 [10:13 PM]: not to mention, like I was saaying about god being just a spiritual connection, ect. Perhaps christ was one as well. Perhaps the connection wasn't as perfect as it was planned out. And it had a hole that christ filled. GomezGuy2005 [10:14 PM]: My theory corresponds cloesely with the christian religious except mine is more of a spiritual thing instead of a physical thing. If that makes sense. CuTiEpAtOoTiE393 [10:15 PM]: i totally see what you mean! i thought that too up until about 8 months ago,...but thats not how it is,...at first there was no choice, i mean back in the beginning, w/ adam and eve and that whole thing,....they had a perfect relationship with God, they didn't have any sin, they didn't need a sacrifice or even Christ,...Satan screwed that up but you know that story,...
